It is finally Wednesday or hump day! Yeah!! Only two more days until the weekend. The last couple of days have been super busy for us and as a result It has taken longer to release my most recent fine art print. However, as of 4:30 am ET this morning I was able to upload "Single Red Rose" onto my Fine Art America online gallery. This is my fourth print from my most recent botanical series. Later today the print will be added to other selected galleries.
The actual photograph of the rose portrayed in this print was shot in January 2016. The digital image was processed in Photoshop CC and also recieved minor editing in both Color Efex Pro 4 and Perfect Photo Suite 9.5. As with the print "Lost In A Dream" my goals was to create a print of almost dream like nature. To this end I desaturated the colours in the long stem rose and placed it on a clean textured background. The resulting fine art print really showcases the intricate and delicate beauty of the red rose in a soft and clean manner.
I love the muted and rich tones of the rose against the soft velvet like texture of the background. The photograph was shot at f14 and as result there is tons of detail in the delicate petals of the rose. Please enjoy!!
Once again thank you for visiting Garvin Hunter Photography at garvinhunter.com! Check back soon as I will be adding new content in the next couple of days. See you soon!!

Purchase A Fine Art Print Of "Single Red Rose"
I am going to keep this post very short this morning as I am sick today and feel wretched. "Lost In a Dream" is the newest fine art print I have released from my most recent botanical series. The underlying photograph of these beautiful flowers was shot in January 2016. The digital photographed was processed using mostly Photoshop CC with some minor adjustments being made in Color Efex Pro 4. In creating this floral print I wanted to explore presentations with softer more muted tones. To this end, I desaturated the flowers giving the print an almost dreamlike feeling. I chose very soft and clean textures for the background so as not to disract the viewer's attention from the delicate beauty of the rose and daisy. I am very pleased with the outcome and hope that you enjoy it as much as I do. Once again thank you for taking the time to visit Garvin Hunter Photography.
