Good morning everyone,
Thank you for joining me today on my photography blog where I am currently close to finishing the first month of my 365 photography challenge. For today's challenge I wanted to continue with the theme of using of selective colouring to make a photograph more interesting to its viewer as well as do a quick digital painting of my Gerber Daisy. This morning I made a macro shot of a Gerber Daisy and then used Corel Painter 2018 to convert the digital image into a faux oil painting. If I had more time I would have used various blending tools on the right side of the image, however, I am still really pleased with the outcome. If you are interested in digital painting Corel offers a 30 day free trial. It is definitely worth checking out. In the second and third image I chose to use a old wooden fence as the backdrop for the photograph. The image was converted to black and white photograph and then using Photoshop CC I selectively restored the colour to the flowers. I really enjoy the simplicity and vibrant colours of the second image. What is your favourite image? I would love to hear from you. Until tomorrow hope you have a great day and get a chance to enjoy the great outdoors.
