Good morning everyone,
Thank you for joining my photo blog as I continue down the road of my own 365 photography project. It is an exciting day for me for two very different reasons. The first being one of my photographs is being featured on the CD cover of an upcoming release by the Choir of St John's College, Cambridge. Check my blog post "Exciting News" for more information on the CD. Secondly, I have the day off so I do not need to rush off to work. YEAHHHH!!!
For today's offering I decided to do some simple action shots. I love photos when an action is frozen in time. The first two images were captured as I drop an ice cube into a glass of tonic water. The last image I decided to add a little colour to the photo by using a lemon slice instead of an ice cube. All three photos were edited in Lightroom and converted into black and white prints using ON1 Photo Raw 2018. In the last image, I then reintroduce some colour back into the photo using layers in Photoshop CC. Taking action shots is a fun and yet simple project for anyone interested in photography and capturing some cool photos. I also created a slow motion video of the lemon falling into the tonic water that I will try to post later.
I would love to hear from you with any comments or questions. Please use the comment section down below. Until tomorrow keeping shooting and have fun!
