Good morning everyone,
Hope you are having a great Tuesday thus far. For today's blog I have a very eclectic group of photographs to share with you which was inspired by some photographs I came across on Pinterest. Specifically, I wanted to photograph various mundane items that we see everyday and present them in a new and exciting way. In the first image I photographed a zipper with my macro lens and then used to photoshop to blur everything in the photo other than the actual zipper. To finish off the image I chose to dampen the shadows while increasing the highlights creating a very cool effect. In second image I placed some screws on a piece of tin foil to produce a blurred reflection. Black Bristol board was used as the background to increase the contrast in the photograph. Again using my macro lens I photographed the screws straight on, The resulting image only received some minor editing in Photoshop CC. I am really pleased with the outcome of this image! For last photograph I used fake flowers I found in the basement and laid them on the tin foil. The flowers were then photographed using my macro lens. For this image I chose to process the image in ON 1 Photo Raw 2018. To make the flowers look more realistic I blurred parts of the image to hide the fabric's texture. If I did not know better I would swear the flowers were real.
Thank you again for joining me! Have fun and continue shooting!
