Thank you for visiting my photo blog and today's post is composed of only one photograph as it's tax time here in Canada. Yep, for Canadians tax returns are due by tomorrow night and I have to make the annual mad dash to the finish line. For day 16 of my 365 Photo Challenge I had my daughter hold a bunch of coloured pencil against a black background as I photographed her. Using ON1 Photo Raw 2018 I then chose to transform the digital image into a vintage looking print. Once I was happy with the monochromatic print I then used Photoshop CC to add back some of the original colouring. I absolutely love the finished product. Selective colouring like the one I did here is an effective and fun way to make your photography more interesting to its viewer. If you have never done this before I would encourage you to try it today. I guarantee that you will both have fun and fall in love with the look of your photograph when you are done. If you have any questions on how to do this, please do not hesitate to leave me a comment down below. Until tomorrow have fun outside and keep shooting!
